The Gambling Information Resource Office works to provide up-to-date and current information on issues related to gambling.
On 29 and 30 March 2017, the Victorian Commission for Gambling and Liquor Regulation heard an application from Highlands Hotel Criagieburn Pty Ltd to increase the number of pokies at Highlands Hotel in the City of Hume from 60 to 80.
On 13 June 2017, the Victorian Commission for Gambling and Liquor Regulation will hear an application from Noble Park Football Social Club Limited to increase the number of pokies at the Noble Park Football Social Club from 50 to 70.
The hearing is scheduled for 29 May 2017 and is open to the public.
