Department of Broadband, Communications and the Digital Economy – Review of the Interactive Gambling Act 2001

In 2011, the Minister for Broadband, Communications and the Digital Economy, now the Department of Communications, released a discussion paper for the review of the Interactive Gambling Act 2001 with the aim of promoting discussions on the regulation of interactive gambling in Australia.

Submissions were sought from the public with an interim report being released in May 2012 and the final report released on 12 March 2013.

Joint Select Committee on Gambling Reform
