Grants for Clinical Research on Gambling Program

The program

The Grants for Clinical Research on Gambling Program is a new research program that funds clinically focused gambling research projects in Victoria.

The program was launched in September 2013, and has so far funded five projects with a total value of $600,000.

The program encourages researchers from a variety of disciplines to undertake independent, investigator-initiated research.

The program also encourages young researchers to enter the gambling field through the allocation of funding to early career researcher grants.

The projects

The first round of funding under the program funded five projects on the topics of gambling treatment and recovery.
