Victorian Responsible Gambling Foundation
As part of the foundation's Responsible Gambling Awareness Week (RGAW) 2014, the Central Victorian Primary Care Partnership produced the following video highlighting Castlemaine Football and Netball club's journey towards responsible gambling including members signing the Victorian sporting clubs' responsible gambling charter.
As part of the foundation's sporting clubs program, North Ballarat Sports Club, in conjunction with local sporting clubs, produced the following video clip launched during Responsible Gambling Awareness Week 2014 to promote a healthy gambling message.
This 30 minute documentary was funded by the division of behavioural health in the Department of Health and Human Services in Nebraska, USA. The lines between online gaming and gambling are blurring and this program examines the dangers this can pose to young people.
It examines gambling and gaming addiction and features interviews with young people who are affected and experts in dealing with the area. A central element is the story of student becoming addicted to online sportsbetting.
Reclaim the Game, a joint project between Moreland City Council, Moonee Valley City Council and Gamblers Help City, invited young people to submit a short clip or advertisement that countered the images presented in sports betting advertising.
