RGAC submissions

As part of its role the Responsible Gambling Advocacy Centre (RGAC) made submissions to local, state and federal government as well as to Commonwealth Parliamentary Inquiries. RGAC submissions were based on research and consultation and were concerned with minimising harm from problem gambling and promoting responsible gambling.

Pre-commitment

Victorian Government discussion paper - Pre-commitment

December 2011

To help inform the implementation of the Victorian Government's pre-commitment policy, a discussion paper was released for public comment on 4 November 2011. The paper sought comments from community, industry and other interested stakeholders.

Coalition's policy discussion paper on problem gambling

January 2012

The Federal Coalition released a Discussion paper in November 2011 that proposed a number of policy options on which community and industry comment was sought.

Local council gaming policies

Ballarat City Council Amendment C154 - Ballarat Gaming Policy Framework

April 2012

From March to April 2012 Ballarat City Council sought submissions from the community and stakeholders on a Planning Scheme Amendment to the Ballarat Planning Scheme - Amendment C154 Implementation of the Ballarat Gaming Policy Framework. The amendment implements the Ballarat Gaming Policy Framework (2011) and introduces a Local Gaming Policy.
