Understanding youth gambling and problem gambling

Professor Derevensky has over 25 years experience researching gambling and young people. In this presentation, he discusses how gambling has become normalised in society through the convergence of online games, social media and gambling.

He also explains the risk and protective factors for pathological gambling among young people and how these can inform diagnosis, prevention programs and support services.
